Interference free transfer by means of screening

The delicate speaker signal coming from your audio set has to take one last barrier before the loudspeakers can transform the signal into music that reaches your ears: the loudspeaker cable. The same what can be said for all other components and cables applies here: distortion and alterations that find their origin in the loudspeaker cable cannot be restored by the loudspeakers themselves. Cables do not have to "sound", they have to pass the signal untouched.

Our SPEAKER CABLE is a non-compromise cable consisting of 2 X 1.5 mm²/AWG 15 very pure OFC copper stranded wire. The advanced construction is the result of countless hours of measuring and listening, using many different audio sets, and comparison with many cables from different manufacturers. Our unique SPEAKER CABLE is the best musical connection possible between amplifier and loudspeaker! It is also available in a bi-wiring configuration (4 X 1.5 mm²). This cable is made up with a beautiful black sleeving. This sleeving has a high carbon content and absorbs stray currents and noise of the cable itself. By lowering the noise floor, the dynamic range is increased.
Amplifiers using negative feedback (most transistor- and MOSFET-amplifiers) will be fed back the interference caught by an unshielded speaker cable (that acts as an antenna), resulting in an amplification of this interference. This will result in a blurred sound and a disturbance in spatial representation. As a side effect, details will be lost.
Non-feedback type amplifiers (mostly tube amplifiers) may have even more advantage of our shielded speaker cables because they work mostly with lower power and therefore higher efficiency speakers are used. Because of this, interference has even more influence on the musical performance of the power amplifier.
 

As a standard, the SPEAKER CABLE comes with gold plated beryllium copper banana plugs. Upon request, it is available with any kind of connector wanted, for instance spades (in 6 or 9mm / 1/4" or 3/8") or a Neutrik Speakon connector. The installation of the SPEAKER CABLE is simple. The only thing that you should do extra is screw down the earthing wire (at the beginning of the SPEAKER CABLE) under a screw of the metal housing of your amplifier. Your amplifier has to be grounded of course!
